During the Ukrainian-German Round Table “Career” on October 19th  in Kyiv inspiring talks and discussions on societal, economic and legal aspects of cooperation with German organizations, working opportunities in academia in Germany, Global Programme ‘Migration for Development’  will be presented by German and Ukrainian speakers.

Ukrainian-German Round Tables are half-day round table meetings,organized by Alumni Network Ukraine-Germany (The Network) and its lokal ukrainian partner- universities.

The Network, funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), was initiated by a consortium of 21 Ukrainian and German institutions from academia, politics, society and economy. By establishing a thriving exchange of experience and knowledge, it aims at facilitating scientific, research and professional cooperation and supporting societal and economic development. Alumni Network Ukraine-Germany is the project where Ukrainian Humboldt Club and German Law Center of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv take part  since spring of 2018. This project was initiated by the rector of Wuerzburg University Prof. Dr. Alfred Forchel. It includes a number of universities from various Ukrainian cities, in particular:

  • Kharkiv: V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University; Polytechnic National University;
  • Kyiv: National Polytechnical University Igor Sikorsky; Bogomolets National Medical University; Kyiv Academic University; National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine;
  • Lviv: Ivan Franko National University; Polytechnic National University; National Medical University; Ukrainian Catholic University;
  • Odesa: Odessa I.I. Mechnikov National University; Polytechnic National University; Medical National University.
